What is Christkindlmarket?
Every year, almost 2 million people from all over the world visit the Christkindlmarket in Nuremberg, Germany to purchase Christmas items such as Gingerbread, sweets, Christmas decorations, candles, and other holiday items. Live performances from choirs and bands also provide entertainment to the visitors. This year and every year thereafter, the Christkindlmarket will be organized and celebrated in Manila, with the traditional setting and ambiance that almost replicate the original event, to give Filipinos a chance to experience this popular European Christmas tradition.
